Established in 2005, McCarthy Associates is a small independent firm, specialising in operational readiness, rail operations consultancy, training needs analysis, design and delivery, incident management, emergency planning and fire risk assessments.
We specialise in achieving operational readiness for new assets, so far including fire panels, new trains, sub surface sidings, new stations and Off Tram Ticketing Systems!
We have helped our clients meet training and operational obligations in a cost effective and positive manner.
Our associates are made up from senior manager and professional rail operators, training staff, health and safety professionals as well as operational managers, with huge experience in many areas.
Our Services
We specialise in assisting suppliers to operational railways in achieving operational readiness for new assets and meeting their training and operational obligations to their clients.

We can assess needs, and create exercises needed to allow operational readiness to be achieved, including crowd control, emergency simulation and all other activities needed, including reports and evidence.
